Churches often communicate the idea that you need to clean up your life and make yourself presentable before you can attend services. This is not how it is supposed to work. Jesus told the religious leaders in Luke 5:31 that, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." We are a church full of people in various stages of learning what that really means, but the lesson applies to all. God is holy and requires us to live to His standards, but the Christmas Story reveals that He also provided a way to rescue us from our failures. Jesus gives us hope!

We are a group of Jesus followers that meet at 450 S. Ivy Street in beautiful Canby, Oregon.  Although we tend to identify with a particular building where we come together for worship and learning, we firmly believe that a church is not a building.  A church is really a group of people that learns together how to better love God and other people. To love God, we need to get to know Him better -- to seek after His heart. To love people, we need to take off our own filters and see others the way that Jesus sees them. This takes effort, but it is what we want to be known for. Why don't you come on this spiritual journey and grow with us?
