Many Generations, One Body

We are blessed to have some wonderful age diversity at Bethany, and this gives us some great opportunities.

Our culture tends to segregate rather than integrate. When this happens, we lose the blessing of the younger learning from the older and more experienced. We need to rub shoulders with both younger and older, allowing ourselves to be mentored even while God stretches us and uses us to mentor others. This is healthy.

We have established an important time for gathering on Wednesday nights.
Merging ministries allows us to simplify from our busy lives, and bring people together at one place and time.
During these nights we gather Children's Ministry and Youth and Adult Life activities together.

We call this special time, BETHANY UNITED. We share a meal from 6:00-6:30 pm, followed by prayer and worship until 6:55 pm, after which adults, youth and kids divide up for classes from 7:00-8:15 pm.
